2D wireless barcode scanner with a 500m range

The EV-W2503-ee barcode scanner is a high-performance 2D scanning solution with versatile connectivity options and an extremely long range, ideal for large warehouses, logistics centers, and outdoor applications. The device measures 20.8 × 9.2 × 12.5 cm and weighs 300 g. It uses a CMOS scan module with an LED light source and supports wireless connections via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, as well as wired data transfer via USB.

With an optical resolution of 600 × 600 pixels and a high scan rate of 300 scans per second, the scanner recognizes barcodes with an accuracy of at least 4 mil. It can capture A4-sized codes and has a transmission range of 400–500 meters. The device is designed to withstand drops from a height of 3 meters and meets CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications.

The scanner decodes both common 1D and 2D barcodes, including QR, PDF417, DataMatrix, Code128, EAN-13, UPC, Code39, Interleaved 2 of 5, and many more. The difference with the CMOS module: it can also recognize barcodes from a screen – unlike conventional laser scanning systems.

This device is ideally suited for high-performance environments such as warehouse logistics, field service, wholesale or sales areas where large distances need to be bridged or barcodes frequently appear on screens.
